Personality/Character Traits: Curtis is calm, collected, and composed, often thinking things through thoroughly before acting on them; he’s the opposite of his sister in this regard. While Cailey is the decision-maker for the gang, it’s Curtis’ rapport with most of the members that typically allows them to get things done in the first place. He’s not quite as bright as his sister, but he’s much more emotionally mature. Curtis, perhaps contrarily to his status, is on the pacifistic side, preferring to avoid conflict if at all possible; he will gladly finish a fight if it comes to it though, and quickly. This sort of thinking is what helped the Dynamos grow to be one of the most prominent gangs in the district – where other gangs dissolved those groups whose turf they took over, the Dynamos offered olive branches in the form of induction into the gang, an offer that many took them up on rather than the much less pleasant alternatives.

Backstory/Biography: The Dorn twins, Cailey and Curtis, were originally from the Sky District, born to parents Gregory and Noelle. Ever since the two of them were young, the siblings have been fairly close - they've had their disagreements like most siblings, but usually nothing too dramatic, and typically have each other's back when it comes down to it. Curtis always liked working with mechanical parts and robotics, and while his parents felt that this was a less than ideal career path, they supported him in it as best they could. As a result, the family took numerous trips down to the Scrapyard to search for refuse that would benefit both siblings' respective hobbies, with no real regard for the law prohibiting leaving the city without proper clearance. These trips often bore little in the way of useful components, and eventually it was decided they'd stop going on them because of the potential risk compared to the low reward.

One day, however, several months after their 15th birthday, that abruptly changed; it was on their final planned trip to the scrapyard that they stumbled across something that would change their lives significantly. In the ruins of an ancient pair of mechs, there were two heavily corrupted but still functional AI cores. Closer inspection revealed that the machines were referred to as the Eon series, modeled after the legendary Pokemon Latios and Latias. For the twins, this was a dream come true – Cailey would get to test her skills repairing two of the more sophisticated AIs from the old war, and Curtis would get to tinker with the mechs themselves, an equally enthralling prospect. That was when tragedy struck. The removal of the cores caused a failsafe sequence to initiate, and while the subsequent detonations only partially damaged the mechs due to the effects of the ages on the explosives, the force of the blast was enough to bring down a huge avalanche of junk, sweeping the twins away and separating them from their parents. Frantic searching from both parents and children turned out to be fruitless, and reluctantly each assumed the other group was gone forever, with Gregory and Noelle returning quietly to their home. Law enforcement had bigger matters to attend to than searching another district for a pair of lost kids, and eventually their parents accepted their lot and returned to their lives.

Devastated by their apparent loss, the twins didn’t know what to do with their situation. By all rights, they weren’t supposed to have been outside the city to begin with, and, as a result, going to the authorities would have only resulted in further trouble for the pair. Instead, the pair elected to cut their losses and begin a new life in the Ash District. With some fast talking and an inordinate amount of luck, they managed to convince the first gang that came after their prizes that they were worth keeping around. With the help of their new allies, both mechs and their respective AIs were eventually restored to some of their former glory, though they were still far from perfect. With the repair jobs came new positions within the gang, as well. Life was good for a while, until the gang's leader, a confrontational boy named Jacob, managed to get himself killed in a dispute with the leader of the Dragons. With the sudden need for a successor, as the two with the most powerful mechs, Cailey and Curtis took over the gang, and began working to make their collective into a somewhat more coherent organization. Rechristening their gang the Dynamos, the pair and their subordinates are constantly on the lookout for new members, as well as choice parts.

Additional Information:
:bulletorange: Not the best at social interaction, though it doesn't stop him from trying; he gets this from his father.
:bulletorange: Very slow to anger, but if you actually manage to piss him off, you're in for some bruises.
:bulletorange: Suspects that there was some plotting involved with the death of their gang's old leader (there wasn't - he got on the wrong end of Jin's knife all by himself), though he keeps this mostly to himself.
